Inspired by Ikigai principles, we aim to reinvent the MKG Köksal clinic as a contemporary, soothing space. Curved elements and Ikigai-inspired colors-soft earth tones and calming greens-cultivate tranquility, while vibrant pops of color infuse energy, setting the interior apart from traditional clinical settings.
HALLWAY. with view to washing station and consultation rooms.
Photographs of finished hallway lighting & wash station.
Curved walls act as subtle and soothing pathfinders, gently guiding patients towards consultation and surgery rooms. Interior windows bring added natural light into the space, while vibrant pops of color contrast the otherwise neutral interior, infusing it with positive energy. At the end of the hallway, the recovery room and secondary waiting area are clad in Alpi veneer, serving as both a pathfinder and a positive distraction.
The design incorporates positive distractions, such as fractal patterns on the ceiling art and lighting, to reduce stress and promote relaxation. The result is a unique clinic environment that balances comfort and vitality, transforming the patient experience into one of well-being and serenity.
