Contributing as an architectural research assistant to the development of the Turkish Pavilion Grounded, we investigated soil as a carrier of ecological and cultural memory. The exhibition frames soil as both a living archive and a model of natural intelligence, revealing how this overlooked element holds insights into past civilizations, ecological systems, and possibilities for coexistence with nature.
